In November 2007, I finally was able to purchase the boat of my dreams, a 2003 Donzi 38 Zr Competition.  As fate would have it, my dream turned to a small nightmare when both motors blew up after only two poker runs!  I was familiar with Ron Potter’s work through my friends at Typhoon Service Center and turned to him for my rebuild.  I had met Ron once before the rebuild and had the pleasure of touring his shop.  I knew right then and there that he would be the only person to work on my engines if the need arose (which it did).  I was blown away by how nice he and his wife were and how clean and organized his shop was.  When it came time to rebuild my motors, we decided to enhance the stock 575’s to 700’s.  WOW is all I can say.  The motors are amazing!  They not only run incredible but they also sound and look fantastic.  Ron also went above and beyond to get the motors rebuild and back to me quickly so I was able to salvage the second half of the boating season.

Ron is not only a fantastic engine builder but also and incredible gentleman and I feel more like a friend than a customer.  Keep up the good work and thank you.
