I never heard of Ron Potter until the day I bought my 2003 Nor-Tech Cat (The Perfect Storm) In all my boating days I have never had reliable engines like my Potter Performance engines.
I have had my share of performance boats and the biggest issue I have is keeping the motors together to finish a Poker Run, when I ran my 2003 Nor-Tech for the first Poker Run I was expecting the same (Instant Detonation halfway through the run) but to my surprise the engines performed absolutely perfect (Poker Run after Poker Run) after 2 seasons with these amazing engines I had Ron Potter rebuild them and as the saying goes I wanted more power so he took my 1000 HP engines and developed 1100s, to my amazement once again they ran flawless.
I just had Ron build me 1200s and I did not have the pleasure of running my new Potter engines (I sold the Perfect Storm)
In my opinion there is no finer engine builder anywhere.
